I am in search of how I can make my grade level team "green". I want to figure out which technology tools we can use to reduce paperwork and time and make collaborating more effective and innovative as a team!

BP_15_iMovie
I am new to the Mac. I feel that iMovie would be a great tool for me to use to produce and edit my videos of our grade level meetings. I know that I would have to take more courses online with Lynda.com to learn more functionality. I am very limited in my usage but I think that I will be able to produce more professional looking videos to use for my action research.
BP_14_Garageband
Garageband is another tool that I would like to learn more about and use during my action research project. I have very limited experience with this program. I have created a few podcasts and recorded a couple of performance. I would like to learn how to edit with the program so I can produce a final piece. My action research findings can have a musical jingle that I produce playing in the background of my presentation.
On a personal note, my daugther, Alaya, has a great singing voice. I think that she could really benefit from using garageband as I can help create some musical recordings. I would like to use the program to produce songs with her for her to make a CD. She is only 8, but I know that she and I can work together to create something beautiful for her to use as a part of her musical career.

BP_12Googledoc
Googledoc is the tool that I would like to learn more about. I would definitely use this on my action research project for me to collaborate with my critical friends. I think it is an excellent tool for me to brainstorm and journal each day's or important events. I can reflect on what went well and did not. I can create surveys for the teachers to complete and display the data in the spreadsheet provided on google docs. I think some of my findings from my research will be posted on my ar site.
